　　The diffuse reflection sensor with background suppression uses a red light source and the principle of triangulation, which is suitable for detecting objects that suppress any background. The sensor always has the same operating distance, regardless of the color, shape and surface of the object. The smallest height difference can be detected by the sensor, for example, different parts can be distinguished reliably. The IO-Link interface can be used to set diffuse reflection sensors (PNP/NPN, NC/NO) and read switch status.
